10/20/2005: "A Walk and A Detour"
Because Sadie is staying at Foxx Kennels for the next couple days, we had extra time for a short detour at the end of our walk today. Although there was copious lamenting as we started our walk about Mercury's inability to shed his extra weight with the current walking conditions... the detour turned into an excellent diet tactic. Lots of very long and exciting chases for ALL the dogs. And I mean ALL. Some of the longest ones where the entire Pack was right in the midst of the action.
Let's hope this morning's ring around the moon isn't a forewarning of rain. Mercury wants another detour, or at least the same amount of action, tomorrow!
